Digital Asset Management

The operational discipline of holding digital assets on behalf of yourself or others.

  • 21 hours
  • 5 modules
  • 16 units
  • $340 or included in full access

About this course

Holding assets is an operations problem long before it is an investment problem. This course covers custody models, key ceremonies, reconciliation, record-keeping and the reporting obligations that follow — the work that determines whether a position survives a staff change or a lost device.

Portfolio construction is taught as a set of constraints and limits, including where diversification stops helping. No allocation is recommended, and no model portfolio is supplied.

What you will be able to do

  • Choose between custody models on stated operational criteria
  • Run and document a key ceremony with separation of duties
  • Reconcile on-chain positions against internal records
  • Maintain cost-basis and reporting records that survive an audit
