Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using this platform you agree to these terms, to our Privacy Policy, and to the Educational Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.

Your account

• Provide accurate registration details and keep them current.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your credentials private.
• Accounts are for one person. Team access is available separately and is priced per seat.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

What we license to you

Course material, written notes, tools and assessments remain our property or that of their authors. On enrolment we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access that material for your own learning, for as long as your access lasts.

• Do not redistribute, resell, publish or publicly perform course material.
• Do not scrape, bulk-download or use the material to train a model without our written permission.
• Do not share your login or circumvent access controls.
• Short quotation with attribution, for commentary or teaching, is fine.

Payment and renewal

Prices are displayed before checkout and include any applicable taxes where we are required to collect them. Memberships renew on the stated cycle until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the period already paid for. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before any price change affecting you.

Acceptable use

• Do not use community spaces to promote assets, projects, funds or trading services.
• Do not present yourself as a Ledgerworks instructor, employee or affiliate unless you are one.
• Do not solicit other learners for investment of any kind.
• Do not upload unlawful, harassing or deliberately misleading content.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend service for maintenance, and we may change, retire or replace course material as subjects evolve. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will offer a pro-rata refund.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading, investment or financial loss arising from your use of this platform, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Ending your access

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and where we do so without cause we will refund the unused portion of any payment.

Changes and governing law

We will post any material change to these terms at least 14 days before it takes effect and email registered learners. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Consumer protections available to you where you live are unaffected.
