Ledgerworks Institute

Independent · Education only

Learn how blockchains
actually work.
Then learn to judge them.

Structured courses in blockchain systems, market structure, digital-asset operations and regulation — written by the engineers, cryptographers and compliance officers who work on them. No signals, no forecasts, no promises about your money.

Two full tracks are free · No card required · No wallet connection, ever

Nothing published here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Every module carries the disclaimer in full.

Course and membership prices are listed before checkout. No auto-renewing upsells, no hidden processing fees.

Independent curriculum review

14-day refund window

Any paid course can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, regardless of how much of it you have watched.

01What you get

Four things, done thoroughly.

We would rather teach a narrow subject completely than a broad one badly. Everything on the platform falls into one of these four categories, and each one is built to be used, not skimmed.

01

Courses built by practitioners

Every module is written by someone who has shipped, audited or regulated the system they are teaching — protocol engineers, cryptographers, risk officers and market-structure analysts.

Video, written notes, exercises and reading lists for each unit.

02

Tools you learn on

A portfolio ledger, a position-sizing worksheet and a fee-and-slippage calculator, each built as a teaching instrument. They model your own scenarios; they never tell you what to hold.

Browser-based, no wallet connection, nothing custodial.

Open the tools
03

Research notes, methods included

Our analysts publish a monthly note on market structure and protocol design with the working assumptions stated on the first page and the data sources cited on the last.

Archive open to members; methodology open to everyone.

04

Security taught properly

Key management, seed-phrase hygiene, hardware wallets, approval revocation and how the common social-engineering scripts are actually run against people.

Includes a free public track on self-custody basics.

02Learning paths

Five courses, taken in order or on their own.

Each course is a sequence of modules with video, written notes, exercises and a reading list. The full syllabus, the author and the annual review note are published on every course page before you enrol.

What access costs
03The institute

A school, not a signal service.

Ledgerworks Institute was founded in 2019 by four practitioners who kept meeting the same problem: the people most affected by digital-asset markets were the least likely to have been taught how they work. What existed was either an academic paper or a promotional pitch.

So the teaching philosophy here is narrow and unglamorous. Explain the mechanism. State the assumptions. Show where the method fails. A learner who finishes a track should be able to argue against the material as fluently as they can repeat it.

We take no commission from any exchange, protocol or issuer, and we accept no sponsored curriculum. Tuition and memberships are the only revenue, which is why the pricing is published and the refund window is unconditional.

04Learner accounts

What people say they took away.

Outcomes described are what these learners report about their own understanding. They are not a prediction of your result, and nothing here describes an investment return.

I came in able to use a wallet but unable to explain one. The fundamentals track made me rebuild the mental model from hashing upwards, and the exercises were the part that made it stick.

Backend engineer, Rotterdam

Completed Blockchain Fundamentals

The technical-analysis course is the only one I have taken that spends a whole unit on how backtests lie to you. That single unit changed how I read every claim I see online.

Our compliance team took the regulation track together. Having a shared vocabulary for classification and Travel Rule questions cut our internal back-and-forth noticeably.

The platform

What exactly does Ledgerworks Institute provide?

Structured courses, written research notes and browser-based learning tools covering blockchain technology, digital-asset operations, market structure and regulation. We are an education provider. We do not manage money, execute trades, custody assets or sell signals.

Do you give investment advice or recommend assets?

No, and we will not. Our instructors teach methods, mechanics and risk frameworks. No course, note or tool constitutes financial, legal or tax advice, and none should be relied on when making a financial decision. See our Educational Disclaimer for the full statement.

Courses & content

What background do I need to start?

None for the Blockchain Fundamentals track, which assumes no prior exposure to cryptography or markets. The intermediate and advanced tracks assume you have completed the fundamentals or can already read a block explorer and an order book.

Are the certificates recognised by employers or regulators?

Our certificates record that you completed a specific curriculum and passed its assessment. They are not a professional licence, an academic degree, or a regulatory qualification, and we do not claim they are. Employers weigh them at their own discretion.

Account & access

What is free and what is paid?

The Blockchain Fundamentals track, the self-custody security track and the published research methodology are free and require only an account. The intermediate and advanced tracks, the tooling suite and the research archive are part of a paid membership, priced on the pricing page before you check out.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Any paid course or membership can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, regardless of how much of it you have watched, by writing to our support address. Full terms are in the Refund Policy.

Security & privacy

Do I ever connect a wallet or share private keys?

Never. Our tools are teaching instruments that run in your browser on figures you type in yourself. We will never ask you to connect a wallet, approve a transaction or disclose a seed phrase, and any message claiming otherwise is not from us.

What do you do with my personal data?

We collect the minimum needed to run your account and improve the courses, we do not sell personal data, and you can request an export or deletion at any time. The specifics — categories, retention periods and processors — are set out in the Privacy Policy.
