How we use cookies
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We use as few as we can get away with. The public pages of this site set no analytics or advertising cookies at all.
Strictly necessary
These cannot be switched off without breaking the platform, and they do not require consent because the service cannot be delivered without them.
- Session cookie: keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Expires when your session ends.
- Security token: protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery. Session-length.
- Preferences: remembers choices such as video playback speed. 12 months.
Optional
We set no third-party advertising cookies, run no ad-network pixels, and do not participate in cross-site tracking.
- Product analytics: aggregate, first-party measurement of which units learners complete, used to improve the courses. 13 months. Off until you accept.
Refusing or removing cookies
Decline optional cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, or change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent you from signing in.
We honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of optional cookies.
